Content Guidelines
1. Principle
StoryForge welcomes bold storytelling. These guidelines keep the platform safe for readers and sustainable for authors. Content that crosses these lines may be age-gated, hidden, or removed, and repeat violations can lead to account suspension.
2. Zero tolerance
The following are never allowed: sexual content involving minors (including fictional characters); non-consensual sexual content; realistic encouragement of self-harm or suicide; terrorist propaganda; and doxxing or credible threats of violence against real people.
3. Mature content & ratings
Erotic, graphic-violence, or horror content must use an accurate age rating and content warnings. Explicit sexual content must involve consenting adults and stay within the story’s tagged rating. Misrated works will be re-rated or hidden until fixed.
4. Hate & harassment
Content that demeans or dehumanizes people based on protected characteristics, or that targets a real person for harassment, is prohibited. Fictional villains with prejudiced views must be clearly framed as such by the narrative.
5. Spam, plagiarism & AI
Do not repost others’ work without rights, flood the platform with low-effort or machine-generated spam, or manipulate rankings, reads, or reviews. AI assistance is allowed but you are responsible for the final text, and undisclosed mass-generated catalogs may be removed.
6. Monetized chapters
Premium chapters must deliver the story experience advertised — no bait chapters, no paywalled content that violates these guidelines, and no misleading pricing. Abusive monetization can result in loss of earning privileges.
7. Reporting & appeals
Use the report action on any story, chapter, post, or comment. Our reviewers assess context before acting. If your work was moderated in error, appeal through Settings → Support with the work title and a brief explanation.
